Changing Object Properties

When you create or modify any object, you'll need to change its settings (or properties). Some properties are simple, such as a text field. Others are more complex, such as link to an object. This section tells you how to change the different types of object properties.

Note: If a property is disabled (grayed out) it means that either the option is not valid in the current context, or its setting is inherited from an object template. Inherited properties have blue labels. You can only change inherited settings in the object template they are inherited from.
