Listing Associated Objects

An object can have numerous relationships to other objects, and often in more than one document. Sometimes it is useful to see which objects a particular object is related to.

To List Associated Objects:

  1. In the Library Explorer or Book Contents, locate the object whose associated objects you want to view.
  2. Right-click on the object and choose Show Relationships. The Show Relationships window opens, listing the related objects.

    From the Show Relationships window you can open, find the location of, or view the relationships for any listed object.a related objects, or view it's associated objects.

    Right-click on the object, then select one of the following options:

    • Open
    • Locate
    • Show Relationships
    • Show Relationships in a New Window

      Show Relationships

      Note: If you choose Show Relationships, the new object's relationships are displayed in the same window. Use the next and previous buttons to navigate between the different relationships.
