Removing Objects from the Contents

As you modify a Book or Index, you'll remove some objects as well as add new ones. If the object is not used in any other place in your Library, you will be given the option of permanently deleting it. Otherwise, you are just removing that object from this particular Book or Index, and it may continue to be used in other Books in your Library.

Warning: Once you have deleted an object from the Library, it cannot be recovered. Be careful.

To Remove an Object from the Contents:

  1. From the contents of a Book or Index, select the object you want to remove.
  2. To remove the object:
  3. The object is removed.
    • If the object is used elsewhere in the Library, it is only removed from this Book or Index.
    • If the object is not used in any other place in your Library, you are given the option of permanently deleting it when saving the Book or Index.
    • If the object has descendants, they are also removed, and you may also be prompted to delete them if they are not used elsewhere.
  4. Save your changes.
