Using the Preview Pane

When you're using the Library Explorer, you can see a preview of the content of Topic and File Objects without having to open them, a preview of the formatting used in the Editor (set on the Style object's General tab), or properties of the other objects.

To turn the Preview Pane ON or OFF, choose Author > Show > Show Object Preview. You can set the preview pane to display below, or to the right of the object list.
