System Requirements

Before installing Author-it Website Manager you must have:

• A web server: running either IIS v5 or v6, or Apache 2 (or higher)
• PHP v4.4 (or higher) installed on your web server
• MySQL server v4.1 (or higher) installed

The server may be setup locally, or provided by your web-host / ISP.

If installing on your own local server we recommend the use of XAMPP. XAMPP is a Windows installer that installs Apache, PHP, MySQL and a few other services.
