Additional Files

The following stylesheets and code files are used by Website Manager and are added to the experience folder. Website Manager creates links to the files referencing the full file location in the compiled page.

Note: The stylesheet used to format the content can be renamed, but the list.css and the menu.css should not be renamed.

Stylesheets

The Website Manager uses cascading stylesheets (css) to control the formatting used in the website.

  • stylesheet.css controls the formatting used by text displayed in the page
  • menu.css controls the formatting used by the menu
  • list.css controls the formatting used by the search results.

References to the stylesheets must be added to the templates.

Code files

Code files are used to add special functionality to the website, for example, a javascript coolmenu. A coolmenu requires the coolmenus4.js and menusetup.js files, Website Manager adds the references to the files in the compiled page when this function is used.

Content using DHTML expanding text and popups require the dhtml_popup.js, a reference to the file must be added to the templates.
