Page Level Placeholders

Placeholders can also be defined at page level when content or functionality is specific to that page only. Page level placeholders are accessed by opening a page from the Content screen. You can then change the value of an existing placeholder, and delete or add new placeholders.

To Add Page Level Placeholders:

  1. Open the Content screen.
  2. Choose the language you want to update then choose the Pages sub tab.
  3. Double-click the page you want to update.
  4. Choose New Placeholder.
  5. Add the placeholder string used in the template.
  6. Add the value defining the content or code that will be used at the placeholder.

Note: Some placeholder values use parameters to define additional functionality. The parameters are always added to the value in enclosed brackets; individual parameters are enclosed with quote marks and separated with a comma.

  7. Select the placeholder type from the drop-down list to define the functionality applied to the content or code.

    Add the page level placeholder

  8. Save the changes, or choose New Placeholder to create a new placeholder field.
