Using AutoSave

Like many programs, Author-it can save your work at regular intervals. That way, if anything goes wrong you don't lose too many changes. You can adjust how often your changes are saved, to match how engrossed in your work you get, and how well-behaved your computer is. Of course, saving things yourself as you work with them is also a good habit to get into.

To Set How Often AutoSave Happens:

  1. In the main window choose the Author-it button > Author-it Options > General.
  2. Select Auto save all open objects, then set the save frequency.
  3. Save your changes.
