Folder Permissions

Problem

I do not have the correct permissions to work in Author-it Website Manager.

Solution

Check that the following folders have read/write permissions for the webserver user.

• awm/engine/cache
• awm/engine/logs
• awm/live
• awm/review
• awm/rollback

On Windows, the IIS user needs access to write to the above folders.

On Linux, the Apache user (often "nobody") will need to have read/write access. A Linux adminstrator will be able to help you set this up.
