Why Are The File Locations Relative?

File locations in Author-it are relative so that you can easily move your libraries when you need to, and so that collaborative authoring works in a networked multi-user environment. For example, if file locations were absolute and people using the library had different drive mappings, they would be unable to share the same linked objects.
