Splitting Table Cells

The Split Cells option is used after cells have been merged enabling you to revert the table to the original number of cells.

Note: Split Cells (chosen from the Table Toolbar and the table shortcut menu) is only available when the cursor is in a cell that has previously been merged.

To Split Cells in a Table:

1. Open the topic containing the table with merged cells.
2. Move the cursor to the cell you want to split.
3. Choose from the Table Toolbar

   Right-click in the cell and choose Split Cells... from the shortcut menu.
