Embedding a Topic Using the Split Screen

Topics are embedded into the container topic at the location they are dropped, enabling you to embed text within a line of existing text, at the end of a line of text, or as a new paragraph.

To Embed a Topic:

1. Open the container topic in the Topic Editor.
2. Choose Split from the Library Toolbar to display the Split view.
3. Drag a topic from the folder or search object list into the Topic Editor and drop in the chosen location. The shortcut menu for inserting and embedding a topic is displayed.
4. Choose Embed Topic from the shortcut menu.
5. Save the changes to the container topic.
