Associating Objects with a Task

Objects in your Library can be associated with summary tasks and activity tasks. You can also copy the associated objects to another task when this task is completed.

  • Copy objects to task: select another task in the project from the drop-down list, or choose none.
  • Change state to: select the state that will be applied to the object when the task is completed.

To Add an Associated Object:

  1. Open the Task:

    In the main window choose Projects > Actions > Open

    -or-

    Double-click on the task

    -or-

    Right-click on the task and choose Open Task.

  2. Choose the Associated Objects tab.
  3. Choose Add. The Select Object window is displayed.
  4. Select the object you want to associate with your task and choose OK. The object is added to the task and the Select Object window is closed.
  5. Choose OK to save the changes and close the task.
