Completing a Task

When you have finished the task, you need to tell Author-it that it has been completed. If the task has an approver, they'll need to do this. Completed tasks are removed from your Current Tasks list, and you get that warm glow that comes from knowing you've successfully knocked off another challenge.

To Complete a Task:

  1. Choose the Task button on the navigation pane to display your Task list.
  2. Select the task you want to mark as completed, right-click, then choose 100% Completed.

    The task is moved to the Tasks Pending Approval folder and is ready for final approval by the assigned approver.
