Creating a Book

New books are created in Author-it Live directly in the folder where they will be located. When you need to create a new book just right-click on the folder and select the New Book option, then add a description and select the template. Once the book is saved you can open your book and begin adding content.

To Create a New Book:

1. Display the library folder structure.
2. Right-click on the folder you wish to create the book in and choose New book from the shortcut menu.
3. In the Create a new book dialog box type the book's name in the Description field.
4. Select a book template from the Template list.
5. Choose OK.
6. A confirmation message box is displayed. Choose OK to create the new book.
