Support

The Support area provides information used by the Author-it Help Desk to resolve issues relating to Author-it Website Manager, and provides options for resetting the live and review sites.

If you need to rebuild the website for any reason, the Reset Site tab gives you the option to delete settings from the Content, Experiences, or Global Placeholders tabs.

Note: When the Web browser's AutoComplete function is enabled, the time needed to rebuild a website can be substantially reduced as possible matches are suggested as the fields are filled.

• The Information tab automates the process of logging a support call with the Author-it Helpdesk. The information tab includes a log with details on the Author-it Website Manager installation, and error logs. The tab also includes a link to open a support call.
• The PHP tab provides information from the PHP server, and is used to debug problems with the installation.
• The Reset Site tab provides options for deleting settings used by the website, enabling part, or all, of the website to be rebuilt if required.
