Changing an Object's Release State

Author-it Live's Release State feature lets you keep track of where each document component is in its life-cycle. An object's Release State can be changed by selecting Change Release State from the shortcut menu. A Topic's Release State can also be changed when it is saved.

To Change an Object's Release State:

1. Display the object in the folder contents, search results, or book contents.
2. Right-click on the object and choose Change Release State...
3. Select a state from the Release State list.
4. Select OK to save the changes.
