Selecting Overwrite OptionsRelease states are used in the source library to reflect an object's position in the document release cycle. In the target libraries release states identify when an object has been sent for translation, or has been translated and returned. The Select Overwrite Options step defines the conditions for updating objects in the target library with objects from the source library, based on the release state applied to the object in the source library. When the translation job is created the target library is updated with new or changed content from the source library. The objects in the source library with the selected release state applied are extracted and overwrite the matching object in the target library. All new objects found in the source library are automatically created in the target library. Note: Any objects that are overwritten with content from the source library require re-translation. From time to time you may need to update an object that is currently out for translation. This will usually occur if the source content has changed shortly after sending a job file to the translation vendor. When this situation occurs select the release state applied to the object in the source library and check the option to overwrite the content that is out for translation. At least one release state from the list must be checked to continue to the next step. To Select the Overwrite Options:
