Selecting Objects to Re-translate

Select Objects to Re-translate provides the option to flag objects for translation override and return them to the vendor in a translation job.

If you are not sending topics for re-translation select Next to continue to the Translation Job Options step.

This option is used for objects that have been returned by the vendor but require re-translation due to errors or inaccuracies. The translation job contains objects selected for re-translation only, new objects requiring translation are not included. To complete this step a note for the translator must be added describing the problem with the topic(s), or any other relevant information that may be required to make the correction.

Note: Create a separate translation job for each book that has content requiring re-translation.

To Flag Objects for Translation Override:

1. In Select Objects to Re-translate choose Add.

   

   The Select Object dialog box opens displaying the objects used by the book.

2. Select the check boxes next to each topic that will be sent for re-translation and choose OK.

   

3. Add a note for the translator providing information on the corrections needed for each of the topics.

   

4. Choose Next. A confirmation message is displayed advising that only the selected objects will be included in the translation job. Choose OK to close the message box and continue to Create Translation Jobs.
