Translation Workflow Options

The Translation Workflow Options step captures additional information which is included in the translation job XML and sent to the translation vendor. The screen is divided into three sections.

The Job details section defines the ticket ID, service provider, and requirements for the translation job.

  • Ticket ID - provides a unique ID for each job. The Ticket ID defaults to the Translation Job Name defined in the previous step, but can be changed if needed. The list of values is created against the variable in the Administrator.
  • Service provider - select a service provider from the list. The list of values is created against the variable in the Administrator.
  • Due date - select the date that the translation job is required back from the translator.
  • Review required - select the type of review that is required for this translation job. The list of values is created against the variable in the Administrator.

The second section defines the contact details the translator should use if they require further information or clarification for this translation job.

  • Name - this field defaults to the user logged in, but can be changed.
  • Email, Telephone, and Country - used to provide the contact details for the author or point of contact for the translation job. The fields default to the last value set by the current user, or to an empty field.

The Notes section provides a plain text field where general notes for the translator, up to 5000 characters in length, can be added.
