Publishing Settings

Publishing Settings includes the options setting the file format used when publishing to Website Manager, and including or excluding image files with books published to XML. Publishing Settings are found in the Administrator under Settings > Publishing Settings.

Note: If Website Manager variables have not yet been set in the Administrator a message box is displayed. Choose OK to continue.

Website Manager Settings:

• Output format: used to select the publishing format for the Website Manager files.

XML Settings:

• Export Embedded Pictures as files: includes a copy of each embedded image file from the published book in the publishing folder with the XML file, XSD file, and the XSLT files.
• Export Linked Pictures as files: includes a copy of each linked image file from the published book in the publishing folder with the XML file, XSD file, and the XSLT files.
• Include a Preview of File Objects: creates a Preview folder containing a JPG preview for each image included in the published book in the publishing folder with the XML file, XSD file, and the XSLT files.
