Inserting a File Object from Thumbnails

Existing images can be inserted from the Insert File Object From Thumbnails dialog box. The images from the chosen library folder are displayed as thumbnails, making it easier to select an image if you don't know the File object's description.

To Insert a File Object From Thumbnails:

1. Move the cursor to the point in the topic where the image will be added.
2. Choose from the Topic Toolbar to open the Insert File Object From Thumbnails dialog box.
3. Select the folder from the Category list to display a thumbnail preview of the File Objects.

   

4. Select the image and choose Insert.

Note: If the Category list is not displayed, please ask your Author-it administrator to configure the thumbnail folder list.
