Adding a Style to the Styles Toolbar

The Styles Toolbar provides quick access to the Styles you use most often. You can customize the toolbar by adding Styles you use from the Paragraph or Character styles groups.

To Add a Style to the Styles Toolbar:

  1. Open the Editor and choose Edit > Format > Format Dialog Box Launcher.
  2. In the Toolbar Styles list on the right, select the style directly above the position where you want your new style to appear.
  3. In the All styles list on the left, select the style you want to add to the toolbar. You can also add a "separator" to put a space between buttons on the toolbar.
  4. Choose the > button. The style is added to the Toolbar Styles list on the right, directly below the style you selected earlier.
  5. Choose OK to save your changes.
