Assigning a Keyboard Shortcut to a Style

You can apply styles to text using the keyboard, as well as with the Styles Toolbar. Keyboard shortcuts can be assigned to any of the styles added to the Styles Toolbar.

To Assign a Keyboard Shortcut to a Style:

1. Open the Editor and choose Edit > Format > Format Dialog Box Launcher.
2. Select the style in the Toolbar Styles list on the right.
3. Hold down any combination of keystrokes including the CTRL, SHIFT, and ALT keys. The shortcut is added next to the Style's name in the Toolbar Styles list.
4. Choose OK to save your changes.
