Object Properties

The Object Properties window is used to view or update properties assigned to objects in the library.

• General settings - all objects
• Metadata assignments - Book and Topic only
• View - A View tab is included for Topic objects. File Objects include a preview pane under each output tab.
• Print output settings
• Help output settings
• Web output settings
• XML previews - all objects
• History compare - all objects

Note: Not all tabs are available for all objects.

The properties window is opened from the Book Contents, Folder list, or Search results. Right-click on the object and choose Properties, or choose one of the tabs listed in the shortcut menu (to open the object's properties window at that tab).
