Book Web TabThe Web tab contains properties that define how the Book object will be published into the HTML pages. These properties define things like the title, super title, version, by line, base font size and base URL.
TitleDefines the Title of the Book in the HTML pages. This information is placed into the HTML page as the <TITLE> tag. Super TitleDefines a Super Title for the Book in the HTML pages. This information is placed into the HTML page as Meta data. VersionDefines a Version for the Book in the HTML pages. This information is placed into the HTML page as Meta data. Note: This is not the same as Object Version. This version is simply text for you and your readers' benefit. It is not used in any way to identify the Book object, nor is it linked to the Object Version in any way. By LineDefines a By Line for the Book in the HTML pages. This information is placed into the HTML page as Meta data. Base URLDefines the URL that all links throughout the published document will be relative to. This means that you can move the published HTML pages around and all links will still work. Base Font SizeDefines the base font size for the HTML pages. All other relative font sizes will be relative to this base size. Frameset TemplateSpecifies the HTML file to be used as the frameset when using an HTML Help or Plain HTML based Table of Contents and Index. Sample frameset files can be found in the Additional FilesSpecifies a list of additional files required to support the HTML or HTML Help. These can be any files required that Author-it does not know about. For example, you may have a graphic specified in the Frameset template, or you may require a supporting Java applet. Author-it will copy all files specified to the Publishing folder for this Book when publishing any HTML based output. |
