Topic and Popup Focus

When the popup is displayed in the topic you can switch the focus from the topic to the popup, and back again. There are two methods for switching between the topic and the popup - using the keyboard arrow keys or the mouse.

Topic focus: You can switch from the topic to the popup using the arrow keys. When you use this method the focus remains with the topic, and you can continue to type.

Popup focus: When you use the mouse to move into the popup the focus is moved from the topic to the popup. To return the focus to the topic and continue typing, click inside the topic again (this action closes the popup and returns the focus to the topic).

When you are in the popup:

  • Left and Right arrow keys move you between Text Fragments list and Topic Context Preview.
  • Up and Down arrow keys scroll between suggested paragraphs in the Text Fragments list, highlighting the selected fragment, or move between topics in the Topic Context Preview.
  • ENTER inserts the highlighted text fragment.
  • CTRL+ENTER inserts the highlighted topic as text from the context preview in the Topic Context Preview.
  • SHIFT+ENTER embeds the highlighted topic from the context preview in the Topic Context Preview.
  • ESC closes the popup.
