Bitmap Options Tab

The Bitmap Options tab contains properties that define several option that can apply to embedded or linked pictures in the Windows Help system. Bitmap options do not apply to Video, Coded RTF, or OLE object files.

Help File Alignment

Allows you to choose how the picture file will be aligned to the text in Windows Help.

Bitmap Transparency

Determines if the picture file is inserted into Windows Help with a transparent background or not.

Note: WinHelp will convert the color at the index position of 16 in the color pallet of the image to the same color as the background of the help window. This color may not necessarily be white. Therefore, this setting may sometimes provide unpredictable results.
