Actions

The Actions Tab enables you to trigger processes automatically before and/or after publishing.

Select Before Publishing or After Publishing, then select an action. The action window opens enabling you to add the criteria that will be used.

Copy File

Puts a copy of the selected files in a new location. You can copy selected file to the publishing folder, or copy selected files from the publishing folder to another location. Using wildcards you can copy all files in a specific format, for example, *.gif.

Move File

Moves the selected files to a new location. You can move the selected file to the publishing folder, or move selected files from the publishing folder to another location.

Delete File

Used to delete all files from the publishing folder, or delete specific files.

Zip File

After publishing has been completed, you can zip the files and move them to a new location. The files can be added to an existing zip file, or the action can create a new zip file.

Command Line

The command Line action allows you to run batch files before and after publishing.

File Transfer

Using the File Transfer action you can transfer files to a remote location after publishing.

XSL Transformation

The XSL Transformation action is used to run a transformation file over the published ouput.

WebDAV

WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) allows users to edit and manage content on remote web servers. The WebDAV action is used to transfer files to a WebDAV server.
