Book Editor Table Menu Commands

Commands found under the Table menu in Author-it V4.5 are now found in the Editor, under the Edit tab (for creating a new table) and the Layout tab (for working with a table). The Layout tab is a context-based tab, and is only displayed when your cursor is in a table.

Insert Column	[Editor] Layout > Rows & Columns > [Insert Left or Insert Right].
Delete Cells...	[Editor] Layout > Rows & Columns > Delete drop-down > [choose from Delete Cells, Delete Columns, Delete Rows, Delete Table].
Merge Cells	[Editor] Layout > Merge > Merge Cells.
Split Cell	[Editor] Layout > Merge > Split Cells.
Split Table	[Editor] Layout > Merge > Split Table.
Borders	[Editor] Layout > Design > [Borders, None, All, or Outer].
Background Color...	[Editor] Layout > Design > Shading drop-down > [select color].
Border Colors...	[Editor] Layout > Design > Borders drop-down > Border Color > [select color].
Row Header	[Editor] Layout > Advanced > Repeat Heading Rows.
Cell Vertical Alignment...	[Editor] Layout > Advanced > [Top, Center, or Bottom].
Cell Shading Parameters...	[Editor] Layout > Design > Shading drop-down > More Colors.
Show Gridlines	[Editor] Layout > Table > Show Gridlines (toggle button).
