Displaying the Quick Search Window

The following options are used for opening the Quick Search window:

Keep Window on Top

You can set the display behavior for the Quick Search window so it is either always on display (in front of all other windows), or sit behind any new window that you open.

• Choose the toggle button to "pin" () the window in front of all other Author-it windows

  -or-

  In the Quick Search window choose View > Always on top.

• Choose the toggle button to "unpin" () the window. It will sit behind the window that currently has the focus

  -or-

  In the Quick Search window choose View and remove the check mark from the Always on top option.
