Using the Quick Search to Search for Objects

The first time you open the Quick Search in the current session the basic options are displayed, with the search text field and the object type selector visible. Increasing the window's width displays the folder field. The advanced search options button (in the window's top right-hand corner) is used to show or hide the advanced search criteria.

When you re-open the window in the current session it will use the same state as your last search. For example, if you used the advanced search options during your last search it will re-open with the advanced options displayed.

Searching for Objects Using Quick Search:

  1. Open the Quick Search window.
  2. Add the search criteria for the objects, then choose Search.
