Locating Objects

An object can be used in many places. Often, you will need to know what folder an object is stored in.

To Locate an Object:

  1. Select the object in the Library Explorer, Book Contents, or Show Relationship window.
  2. Right-click on the object, then select Locate. The folder containing the object is selected in the Library Folders list, and the object is highlighted.

To Locate an Object that is Used in a Topic:

  1. Open the Topic, then right click on the linked object. This can be a File object, Hypertext Link object, or an embedded topic object.
  2. Right-click on the object, then select Locate. The folder containing the object is selected in the Library Folders list, and the object is highlighted.
