Style Object

A Style object represents the formatting and layout of characters or paragraphs within the text of a Topic object in the Author-it editing environment. All text within a Topic object must be tagged with a Style object. This ensures a consistent and manageable look and feel to all documentation.

The Style object also contains a link to a style in a Microsoft Word Template for the printed documentation, a definition for how the same style will be represented in the Windows Help, and a definition for a Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) style in HTML.
