Customizing Your Title PageThe information that is included in your Title Page, and the formatting and layout that is used, is controlled by several things:
The Title Page object contains a number of properties that define things such as which heading elements from the Book object to include (Super Title, Title, Sub Title, Version and/or By Line), page layout information (via a Media object) and even what graphic (via a File object) to place on the cover. The Media object used (usually Cover Section) defines the page layout settings such as page size, margins, and any autotext entries used by the headers or footers. A Title Page always starts a new section, so you must select a Media object.
Each heading element (Super Title, Title, Sub Title, Version and/or By Line) uses a corresponding style in the Word Publishing template. These styles are: SuperTitle, Title, Subtitle, Version and Byline. To adjust the formatting, you can simply modify the style in the Word Publishing template. For exact control of positioning, apply a frame to the style in Word. Note: If a File Object is defined in the Picture File field it uses the "Version" style from the Word template. To apply a different style, define the Paragraph style setting under the Document tab of the File Object: Additional information can also be included by redefining the Footer used by the Title Page it all depends on exactly what you are after. Alternatively, you can use a Topic Object instead of a Title Page object (using tables and styles to control and achieve the layout required), or create a one page document externally in MS Word and use a File object to link to that file.
