Working with Edit History

Author-it's Edit History lets you quickly see changes different authors have made to an object, and gives you the ability to roll back (or revert) to a previous revision.

Before you can use the Edit History to view and compare changes, you must first define which events should create history records. This is done by defining Save Points. Only changes that have history records can be used to compare and revert.

Because each history record must be stored somewhere, this can impact on the size of your library. There are a number of settings and features to archive history from the database.
