Presentation TOC Object

The Presentation Table of Contents (TOC) object has been specifically designed for use in presentations. Don't try to use the Standard or DHTML TOC, as these don't use the correct media objects.

When the book is published to HTML or XHTML the TOC object creates the TOC pane, and is also needed to create the frameset (index.htm). If you don't include a TOC object in the book, the frameset cannot be completed and you'll be unable to launch the final presentation.

Note: The TOC has been excluded from the Word output so it won't create a Table of Contents in the handouts.
