The slide transition variables aren't working

Problem

I've set up all of the variables but in the published slide show they're not working. I set the transition effects variable to spiral but when I play the slide show it moves to the next slide but doesn't use the effect I've chosen.

Reason

The variable name contains an error, for example the Variable name or the transition effect name is incorrect and the variable can't be resolved during publishing. For example the variable name <SlideTransitonEffect> has been typed as <SlideTransitonEffects>, or the effect name Spiral has been typed as Spirals.

Solution

Check that the variable and effect names use the correct spelling.
